Today is Resurrection Sunday, the day the Protestant church recognizes the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The day that evil was defeated and death handed defeat. Let’s remember how special this event was and the second chance we were given.
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the [...]

Just a reminder…every week we will be pulling one verse from the Bible to memorize, reflect and study each week. I challenge you to join in this adventure. Focus first on studying and learning about the verse. The memorization will come.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, [...]

There is a hymn that you have probably sung a hundred times in church:
We’re an anchor for those who are hurting
We’re a harbor for those who are lost
Sometimes it’s not always easy
Bearing Calvary’s cross
We’ve been ridiculed by those
who don’t know Him
We’ve been mocked by those who don’t believe
Still I love standing [...]

Today is Sunday, the day Protestant Christians typically set aside to observe the Sabbath. I wonder sometimes if we take this day to lightly? Do you treat Sunday the same as Monday-Saturday; if you do, does this seem ok or possibly not a big deal?
And on the seventh day God ended his work which he [...]

One of the important things in growing in our Christian faith and in our walk with God is our devotion and prayer time. There are tons of approaches to doing devotions and when the best time to do them is. I have tried many different times and many different styles.
There is no reason in getting [...]
